The Barkin' Dog Duathlon is the first race in the 2012 Mile High Duathlon Series. All abilities are welcome! Enter one race, or Du all three!

This is the 14th year for the Barkin' Dog Duathlon, Colorado's largest duathlon, and consistently the largest duathlon in the Western United States. The race spent it's first seven years in the small town of Keenesburg, just north and east of Denver, but we outgrew that location and made the move to Cherry Creek State Park in 2006.

This race serves as the unofficial season opener for Colorado multisport athletes, attracting some of the top pro's in the country as well as a whole slew of first-time multisport athletes trying something different. If you can finish a 10K, you can complete a duathlon!

Participants can choose from the standard 5K Run, 30K Bike, 5K Run event which exits the park and crosses the Dam Road, or the short course which challenges participants with a shorter 1 Mile Run, 15K Bike, 5K Run.

We hope you'll join us on May 12th for a quality race, a fun post-race picnic, terrific gear drawing, and the start to the 13th year for the Mile-High Duathlon Series!
