The bike course is a fun gently rolling out and back course over rural paved roads that will be closed to traffic. RulesAll of our events will strictly follow the established rules to provide a safe and fair race for everyone. Most importantly, all competitors will be required to wear an approved cycling helmet while on the bike, and there will be NO DRAFTING allowed during the cycling portion of any of these events. Motorcycle Marshalls will be on the course. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Mile-High Duathlon SeriesThe Mile-High Duathlon Series is made up of three duathlons designed to challenge the hard-cores, while remaining user-friendly enough for the first-timer. All three events are within an easy 30 minute drive from Denver, yet all offer the rural atmosphere you can only get on the eastern plains. The series kicks off in May with the Barkin' Dog Duathlon, followed by the Big Sky Duathlon in mid-June, and our final race, the Cabbage Head Duathlon, on June 30th. A terrific awards breakfast will follow the Cabbage Head Duathlon! For the guys up front, there will be $2,000 in series cash up for grabs. There will also be an age-group series, with awards for series point winners. And New This Year!!! There will be a special series-end raffle for athletes who have entered all 3 series events. This series is the best value in multi-sport. Enter all 3 series events by April 27th and pay only $80 for individuals of $119 for relay teams. This is a $16 savings over pre-registering for each race individually!!! |
